Role Description The University Teacher role at Prose Education Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The University

Teacher will design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that integrate academic rigor with the needs of sports-focused students in the Gamechanger program. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting interactive classes, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves mentoring students, coordinating with academic and sports staff to align schedules, and participating in meetings and training sessions to continuously improve teaching practices.

Teacher will help maintain academic quality, support student well-being, and contribute to the ongoing development of teaching materials and methodologies.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience delivering curriculum-aligned instruction at the university or higher secondary level.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including creating structured, engaging, and adaptive lesson plans for diverse learners.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and support students from varied backgrounds.
- Experience in Training and mentoring students, including guiding learners in balancing academic requirements with extracurricular or sports commitments.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a master’s degree in Education or a related discipline; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, coaches, and administrative staff in an on-site academic environment in Bengaluru.
- Comfort with using digital tools and online platforms for teaching, assessments, and student support.
- Prior experience teaching or supporting student-athletes is beneficial.
