Domain: Aerospace & Defense (Preferred) OR Advanced Automotive / High-Performance Simulation ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a C++ QT WIN32 UI Developer Lead Developer to drive the design and implementation of our next-generation Mission Planning Software. This role focuses on building high-performance, low-latency tactical control dashboards where visual clarity, real-time responsiveness, and absolute stability are critical.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between user experience architecture and heavy-duty desktop systems engineering, transforming complex telemetry, 3D spatial data, and GIS mapping into intuitive, robust Windows desktop applications. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead UI Architecture: Own the end-to-end user interface architecture of proprietary Mission Planning Systems using C++, WIN32 and the Qt framework.

Optimize Performance: Tune and maintain native Windows application performance, tightly managing memory footprint, rendering cycles, and CPU/GPU utilization.

Implement Complex Workflows: Translate highly technical operational workflows, GIS mapping elements, and real-time data streams into slick, fluid UI layouts.

Mentor & Standardize:



Guide mid-level engineers, establishing clean code practices, robust code reviews, and efficient UI state management. THE MUST-HAVE SKILL SET

Core Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and deep, hands-on experience with the Qt framework (Widgets and/or QML).

Windows Desktop Internals: Strong expertise in building native apps optimized for the Windows Platform, including familiarity with Win32 API for low-level OS interaction.

High-Performance Rendering: Practical experience with Dear ImGui (ImGui) or custom graphics rendering pipeline integration (OpenGL/DirectX) for lightweight, low-latency data visualization.

Domain Background: Experience working on Mission Planning Software, Ground Control Stations (GCS), GIS/mapping applications, or safety-critical dashboards.
