Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated Typist & Stenographer with strong command over legal documentation and transcription. This is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves accurate typing, transcription of dictations, preparation and formatting of legal documents, proofreading, and assisting with routine legal correspondence.





The selected candidate will work closely with the legal team and administrative staff to ensure timely, organised, and effective execution of tasks.

Qualifications

- Minimum typing speed of 60–70 words per minute for direct computer typing (mandatory)
- Excellent typing and audio-typing proficiency with strong accuracy
- Strong clerical and organisational skills, including document handling and file management
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with lawyers, staff, and clients
- Solid computer literacy, especially in word-processing software and basic legal tools
- Prior experience in a law firm or familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage
- Minimum educational qualification: High School diploma or equivalent; certification in typing or stenography is preferred
