Benefits New Associate supports the delivery of HR services related to payroll, employee benefits, and compensation processes within a shared services/contact center environment. The role involves handling employee queries, executing transactions, and ensuring accurate and compliant processing of compensation and benefits activities, while delivering a consistent employee experience. Bachelor’s degree (B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / B.Tech or equivalent).

"Must be open to Australian shift timings: (9 am to 5 pm) Australian time"





Basic understanding of Compensation & Benefits processes (payroll, benefits administration)

Knowledge of Australia payroll regulations, taxation, and superannuation basics

Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (SAP, Workday, ADP, SuccessFactors – preferred)

Experience or understanding of contact center operations and SLA-driven delivery

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and employee data

Good communication skills with ability to handle employee queries professionally and empathetically

Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive transactions efficiently

Basic analytical and problem-solving skills

Understanding of data privacy requirements for sensitive compensation information

Adaptability to fast-paced, process-driven environments Roles and Responsibilities:

Handle employee queries related to payroll, compensation, and benefits via contact center channels (calls, chat, portal)

Support payroll input validation, salary changes, bonus processing, and deductions

Assist in administration of employee benefits (health insurance, superannuation, leave entitlements) in Australia

Ensure accurate data entry and updates in HRIS and payroll systems

Maintain adherence to SLA/KPI metrics (AHT, FCR, accuracy, CSAT) in a high-volume environment

Support compliance with Australia regulations (Fair Work Act, tax, superannuation requirements)

Assist in resolving basic compensation or payroll discrepancies and escalate complex issues

Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge base updates for common queries

Ensure data privacy and confidentiality of employee compensation information
