Role : Tester – Core Banking (Oracle FLEXCUBE Liability / OBPM)

We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Tester with expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE Liability Modules and Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM). The ideal candidate should possess strong functional testing experience in Core Banking applications, payment processing, and end-to-end banking transaction validation. Experience in API testing, integration testing, and payment systems within Banking/NBFC environments is essential.

Reponsibilities:

- Perform Functional, System Integration (SIT), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Oracle FLEXCUBE Liability modules and OBPM.
- Design, review, and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Validate end-to-end banking transactions related to liability products, customer accounts, deposits, and payment processing.
- Perform testing of payment workflows including NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, inward/outward payments, and other payment interfaces integrated with OBPM.
- Execute API testing and validate integrations between FLEXCUBE, OBPM, and surrounding banking applications.
- Perform database validation using SQL to ensure transaction accuracy and data integrity.
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders during requirement analysis and testing.
- Participate in defect triage, release validation, production support, and post-implementation verification.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics while ensuring adherence to banking quality standards.

Essential Skills:

- 5–8 years of experience in Core Banking application testing.




- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE Liability Modules.
- Experience in Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM) testing.
- Strong knowledge of liability products such as CASA, Term Deposits, Customer Maintenance, and Account Management.
- Experience in Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing.
- Good knowledge of API Testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools.
- Experience in SQL for database validation.
- Robust understanding of payment processing, transaction lifecycle, and Core Banking workflows.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar defect management tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

Desired Skills:

- Exposure to payment systems including NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 messaging.
- Experience with Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX) or Digital Banking integrations.
- Knowledge of middleware, REST/SOAP services, JSON, XML, and enterprise integrations.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks.
- Understanding of RBI regulations, payment compliance, and banking operational processes.

Experience:

- Total Experience: 5–8 years
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE Liability and OBPM testing.
- Proven experience in end-to-end validation of Core Banking and payment processing applications.
- Banking or NBFC project experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE and Oracle Banking Payments implementations or enhancements is mandatory.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is preferred.
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience is mandatory.
