Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Architect to lead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of enterprise-scale automation testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Playwright, with strong experience in WebDriverIO and RestAssured, along with a solid understanding of modern automation architecture, design patterns, and CI/CD integration.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring a combination of hands-on technical expertise, architectural vision, mentoring capabilities, and a passion for innovation. The successful candidate will also explore and integrate AI-powered testing solutions to improve automation efficiency, quality, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Architecture

- Design and develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
- Build enterprise-grade automation solutions using:
- Playwright
- WebDriverIO
- RestAssured
- Establish framework design standards, architectural principles, and coding best practices.
- Develop reusable utilities and common libraries.
- Create comprehensive framework documentation and usage guidelines.

Automation Strategy & Optimization

- Define and execute the organization's automation testing strategy.
- Drive automation adoption across Agile and DevOps teams.
- Improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and overall quality.
- Optimize CI/CD integration for automated testing.
- Analyze automation metrics and recommend continuous improvements.
- Identify automation opportunities based on business value and technical feasibility.

Proof of Concepts (POCs)

- Research emerging automation technologies.
- Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new tools and frameworks.
- Evaluate automation platforms and recommend suitable solutions.




- Present findings and implementation strategies to stakeholders.

AI-Driven Test Automation

- Research AI/ML-powered testing solutions.
- Explore intelligent automation capabilities including:
- Self-healing automation
- AI-generated test cases
- Intelligent test prioritization
- Test data generation
- Smart defect prediction
- Evaluate tools such as Claude and other intelligent testing platforms.
- Recommend AI adoption strategies to improve testing efficiency.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

- Mentor QA Engineers and SDETs across multiple teams.
- Conduct technical workshops and automation training sessions.
- Develop learning materials and best practice documentation.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Automation Governance

- Define and enforce automation coding standards.
- Establish framework governance and quality gates.
- Ensure:
