Designation/Position- Temporary Faculty Positions National Institute of Technology Sikkim, India invites applications for Temporary Faculty Positions from eligible and interested candidates

About- Institute is operating from a temporary campus at Ravangla, situated at an altitude of 2100 meters. The terrain is hilly, and the weather remains cold and wet throughout the year. Moreover, there is very limited infrastructure within the present campus. Accommodation may not be provided to the selected candidate.

Location- National Institute of Technology Sikkim

Eligibility/Qualification–

- The candidates should possess Ph.D. in relevant disciplines or must have submitted the Ph.D. thesis for the award.
- Candidates with teaching experience in reputed educational Institutions will be preferred.
- Institute reserves the right to fix additional or higher criteria for short-listing. *

Job/Position Description- Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates having qualifications, experience and desired specification for temporary faculty position in the “Department of Chemistry, specialization in either Analytical Chemistry or Experimental Physical Chemistry” in purely contractual basis. (Note: There is no vacancy for organic / inorganic specialization). Empanelment as temporary faculty will be initially for a period of eleven (11) months. All the shortlisted candidates are required to appear in person/online for the presentation /personal interview. All candidates selected for interview are required to bring original certificates at the time of interview/joining.





Interview date and venue will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through email.
