Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tekla Modeler role based in Kerala, India.

The Tekla

Modeler will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D structural models using Tekla Structures, including steel and concrete detailing for various building and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering and architectural drawings, preparing accurate shop and erection drawings, coordinating with design and engineering teams,



and ensuring models comply with relevant codes and project standards. The role also involves managing revisions, maintaining model and drawing accuracy, supporting quantity take-offs, and collaborating with project stakeholders to resolve design and detailing issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for 3D modeling, detailing, and drawing generation.

Solid understanding of structural engineering concepts, steel and concrete detailing, and industry standards.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams.

Relevant diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience with other BIM or CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is an advantage.

Prior experience in AEC industry modeling and detailing projects for global or local clients is preferred.
