The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable database solutions, driving automation initiatives, enabling seamless application onboarding, optimizing database performance, and providing strategic recommendations to support business growth.

Roles &

Responsibilities: Database Architecture & Application Onboarding Design and architect Oracle database solutions for new application onboarding. Analyze application requirements and define database infrastructure, high availability, backup, recovery, and security strategies. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure smooth onboarding and production readiness. Conduct capacity planning and performance forecasting for new and existing applications. Automation & Engineering Lead automation initiatives for Oracle Database administration activities.

Develop and maintain automation solutions for: Oracle PSU/RU patching

Database provisioning

User management





Health checks

Backup validation

Database refresh and cloning

Performance monitoring and reporting Create reusable automation frameworks using Shell, Python, Ansible, PowerShell, or equivalent tools. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

Oracle Database Administration Manage

Oracle 19c/21c databases in enterprise environments. Administer RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, GoldenGate, and OEM environments. Perform database upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management. Ensure database availability, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Delphix Administration Manage

Delphix virtualization environments. Design and maintain automated database refresh and cloning solutions. Optimize non-production database provisioning processes.

Support

DevOps and testing teams through rapid database delivery capabilities.

Proactive

Consulting & Business Alignment Understand business and application growth trends. Anticipate future database requirements before they become operational risks.

Infrastructure optimization Act as a trusted advisor for application teams and business stakeholders.
