We are looking for a Senior Associate, Technology Advisory to join our team! As a Technology Advisory Senior Associate at RSM, you will work with businesses across diverse industries and gain hands-on client experience with direct access to executive management. You will contribute to multiple projects each year, managing significant portions of assignments rather than just one small part.

Responsibilities

- Help clients with their digital transformation journeys, including:
- Digital strategy development
- Digital assessments
- Roadmap development
- Advising on emerging technologies

- Advise CIOs on optimizing IT departments and IT capabilities within client organizations.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and end users.
- Perform technology assessments and software selections.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Update, implement, and maintain procedures.
- Work closely with clients and subject matter experts.
- Participate in projects, develop project plans, and monitor project performance.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior team members.
- Gather critical information from stakeholder meetings and prepare detailed reports.
- Network internally and externally to identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Analyze, develop, and document process improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate user workshops to gather and document business needs, requirements, challenges, and pain points.




- Continuously expand your understanding of RSM's services to enhance client value through integrated solutions.
- Take on increasingly active roles in technology assessments as your knowledge and experience grow.
- Stay current with the latest process improvements and digital/IT advancements to modernize systems and automate operations.
- Effectively document and communicate insights, recommendations, and project plans to cross-functional teams and management.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Basic Qualifications

- 2-5 years of experience in management consulting, business analysis, digital transformation, and/or software management roles, preferably in a platform-agnostic environment.
- Knowledge of ERP, CRM, CPM, and other enterprise platforms.
- Previous consulting experience advising on digital adoption, automation, and operational efficiencies.
- Experience implementing technologies and migrating clients to SaaS/cloud environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts across multiple domains.
- Basic understanding of IT application lifecycle, general IT controls, and governance methodologies.
- Experience developing Target Operating Models (TOM) for clients.
- Strong communication skills with executive presence.
- Highly self-motivated with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to apply theoretical concepts and industry best practices to solve business challenges.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout North America.
- Experience preparing detailed reports and delivering presentations.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve client concerns and issues.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to break down complex issues into manageable project steps and develop practical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS)



or Business Information Systems (BIS).
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Smartsheet.
- Advanced data analysis and manipulation skills using Microsoft Excel.
- Database knowledge, including Microsoft SQL and/or Microsoft Access.
- Experience with operational process reviews and basic internal control requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, PMP, or TOGAF.
- Experience with Private Equity (PE) and/or Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;) transactions.
