- Santriya Technologies is recruiting an experienced Technology Contracts and AI Governance Advisor to advise clients across financial services and technology sectors on technology procurement, cloud services, artificial intelligence governance, digital compliance, and information governance.

- About the Role: This role sits at the intersection of commercial law, technology, and AI regulation.

- It is ideally suited to legal professionals or governance specialists with experience in technology law, AI policy, or digital compliance who are seeking flexible advisory or consultancy engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology contracts, cloud services agreements, AI platform contracts, and software development agreements

- Advise clients on AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, AI risk tiering, and compliance with the EU AI Act and UK AI regulatory approach

- Support organisations in designing AI governance operating models including accountability structures, model risk registers, and audit readiness frameworks

- Advise on data privacy obligations (UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018) in the context of AI, cloud, and data analytics initiatives

- Review technology vendor contracts and advise on risk allocation, IP ownership,



data processing terms, and liability provisions

- Conduct legal and compliance risk assessments on GenAI deployments, LLM integration, and AI-enabled products

- Advise on information governance, data classification, retention policies, and cross-border data transfer obligations

- Support digital transformation programmes with legal and governance advisory at each delivery stage

- Develop AI policy frameworks, acceptable use policies, and AI ethics guidelines for enterprise clients

- Stay current with developments in EU AI Act implementation, UK AI governance proposals, and international AI standards (ISO/IEC 42001)

- Engage with in-house legal, compliance, and technology teams to embed governance into AI development and procurement lifecycles What We Are Looking For:

- Legal or governance skilled with strong technology contracts and AI governance expertise

- Experience advising enterprises, financial institutions, or technology companies in the UK or internationally

- Working knowledge of UK GDPR, EU AI Act, cloud regulatory frameworks, and information security standards

- Excellent drafting, advisory, and stakeholder engagement skills.
