Role Description The Technical Team Lead at Essence Innovation will oversee the end-to-end delivery of software features for the AI-powered health app, guiding a cross-functional engineering team through design, development, testing, and deployment. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical discussions, reviewing code, ensuring adherence to best practices, and troubleshooting complex issues in collaboration with developers and product stakeholders. The role involves planning and managing projects, setting priorities and timelines, and coordinating with product management and UX to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

The Technical Team

Lead will coach and mentor team members,



support performance improvement, and foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district.

Qualifications - Candidates should possess robust team management and team leadership skills to guide, motivate, and develop a high-performing technical team.

- Candidates should possess solid project management skills to plan, prioritize, and deliver software initiatives on schedule and within scope.
- Candidates should possess hands-on software development experience, with proficiency in modern programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
- Candidates should possess advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex technical and system-level issues.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product, design, and other stakeholders.
- Relevant experience leading engineering teams in product-based or startup environments, preferably in health tech or data-driven applications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, security best practices, and scalable architecture design is highly beneficial.
