Job Title : Technical Project Manager (ERP & Enterprise Systems)

Location : Kolkata, West Bengal, India (Work from Office)

Employment Type : Full-Time (Contract to Hire)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives, including ERP and enterprise applications. This role requires robust technical understanding, project ownership, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive complete project delivery (scope, timeline, cost, and quality)
- Manage multiple projects and ensure alignment with business goals
- Define project plans, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery schedules
- Lead cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Business, and external vendors
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, coding standards, and best practices
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Manage change requests, scope creep, and stakeholder expectations
- Oversee UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support





Technical and Domain Requirements

- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience managing ERP implementations (Finance, Inventory, Procurement, HR, etc.)
- Exposure to web-based enterprise applications
- Positive technical knowledge of backend technologies (Java, .NET, PHP/Laravel or similar)
- Understanding of databases (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.), APIs, and system integrations
- Ability to review technical designs and guide architectural decisions

Delivery and Program Management Skills

- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Solid experience in project planning, estimation, and execution
- Resource and capacity management experience
- Budget tracking and cost control
- Risk and issue management
- Experience handling large-scale, multi-team projects
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project

Leadership and Soft Skills

- Robust leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Experience in client-facing roles and handling escalations

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
