What the role is

Own technology projects end to end — plan, schedule, risks, and reporting — across data engineering, cloud, and AI/ML delivery, working alongside Engineering Leads and Architects.

Must-Have Skills

- 10+ years of IT Experience and min 6+ years managing technology project delivery end to end (plan, schedule, RAID, status reporting, scope control)
- Smart, structured thinker — cuts through ambiguity, asks the right questions, solves rather than escalates
- Strong learning attitude — curious, picks up new technology and domains quickly, thrives as data and AI platforms evolve
- Hands-on project experience with data engineering and/or cloud platforms — Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Applied AI fluency in the PM role itself — actively uses AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude, or similar) in day-to-day delivery: drafting plans and status narratives, summarising standups and stakeholder threads, generating test scenarios and documentation,



and accelerating estimation and risk analysis.
- Technical fluency to discuss data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and integrations credibly with engineers
- Experience coordinating AI/ML delivery and familiarity with the ML lifecycle (data prep model dev deployment monitoring)
- Strong command of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/hybrid, with judgment on when to use which
- Proficiency with Jira / Azure DevOps / MS Project / Smartsheet and reporting dashboards
- Robust estimation, risk management, and progress-tracking ability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication — comfortable presenting to business and client stakeholders

Good to Have

- Databricks or similar modern data platform exposure (Lakehouse / Delta Lake)
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or PRINCE2 certification
- GenAI / LLM project delivery exposure
- Cloud cost management / FinOps familiarity
