We are seeking a Technical Content Specialist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that aids users in understanding our products and services. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can simplify complex information and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, installation guides, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather technical information and clarify requirements.
- Create engaging and informative content that simplifies complex technical concepts for various audiences.
- Review and edit documentation created by other team members to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Utilize various tools and software for documentation creation, management, and version control.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in technical writing or content development in a tech environment.
- Solid understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into easily understandable content.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
