Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to act as the bridge between product and IT teams. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into clear technical documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories), manage and streamline JIRA-based workflows, define process roadmaps, and perform first-level testing to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across product and IT teams

- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow/workflow documentation

- Act as the primary liaison between business/product stakeholders and technical development teams

- Own and streamline JIRA ticket management — creation, prioritization, sprint tracking, and status reporting

- Design and maintain workflows and delivery roadmaps aligned to business priorities

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team

- Conduct first-level testing (functional, UAT support) to validate that solutions meet documented requirements before handover to formal QA

- Identify, log, and track issues/defects,



coordinating resolution with development teams

- Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, sprint reviews, and stakeholder status updates

- Proactively flag risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers to relevant stakeholders

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Proven experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process documentation

- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery methodology

- Hands-on experience managing JIRA workflows (boards, backlogs, sprint tracking)

- Working knowledge of first-level/functional testing practices and UAT support

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills

- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured technical requirements

- Basic SQL/database validation knowledge preferred

- Domain knowledge of financial markets / data operations is an advantage

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

- 5 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar hybrid BA/QA role
