Role & responsibilities

Agentic Architect responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operationalization of the clients foundational agentic AI environment, as well as planning and executing the migration of select Power Automate RPA solutions to agent-based architectures

He or she should be able to assess, redesign, and migrate existing RPA bots built using Microsoft Power Automate into Agentic AI-based automation solutions. The role requires strong experience in workflow automation, Azure-based AI services, and enterprise data integration with SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze existing Power Automate bots and identify opportunities to convert rule-based automations into Agentic AI-driven workflows.
- Design, build, and implement autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents for business process automation using Azure AI services and related Microsoft technologies.
- Integrate Agentic AI solutions with Power Automate, APIs, enterprise applications, and SQL Server databases.
- Redesign automation logic to improve adaptability, exception handling, contextual decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and architecture teams to gather requirements and define scalable automation solutions.
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of production-grade automation and AI agent solutions on Azure.
- Design, establish, and maintain the clients foundational agentic AI environment, including orchestration architecture, tool and connector integration, memory and state management, and deployment pipelines.




- Evaluate the clients fexisting Power Automate RPA portfolio and identify suitable candidates for migration.
- Re-architect and migrate selected RPA workflows into agent-based solutions, incorporating well-defined API and tool integration patterns where appropriate.
- Develop and optimize agent orchestration frameworks, prompt and context management strategies, and tool-calling patterns using platforms such as Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI Builder, or comparable technologies.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, migration playbooks, and operational runbooks, while contributing to enterprise governance standards for the responsible adoption and use of agentic AI.

Mandatory Skills

- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying agentic AI and large language model (LLM)-based solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud flows, desktop flows, and enterprise workflow automation.
- Experience in migrating or modernizing RPA / workflow solutions into AI-assisted or agent-based automation models.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially services relevant to AI, integration, monitoring, and application deployment.




- Robust working experience with SQL Server, including query writing, stored procedures, and data integration for automation workflows.
- Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, C#/.NET, or JavaScript.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, source control tools such as GitHub/Bitbucket, and enterprise integration patterns.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure AI Agent Service, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or related Microsoft AI platforms.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Dataverse, or other Power Platform components.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated enterprise environments.
- Understanding of AI governance, observability, and secure enterprise deployment patterns on Azure.

Experience Profile

- 8-12 years of software engineering, automation, or enterprise application development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power Automate / Microsoft Power Platform automation.
- 2+ years of demonstrable experience in AI/ML, generative AI, or agent-based automation initiatives (LLM apps, AI agents, or autonomous workflows).
