Job Title: Team Leader - Credit Operation (US Mortgage/Loan operation s)

Job Summ ary We are looking for an experienced and detail-orient ed Team Leader – Credit Operati ons to manage and oversee loan origination, processing, and documentation activities. This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with credit guidelines, and driving operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards across all loan fil es.

Credit

Review &

• Documenta tion Review loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with credit and program guideli nes. Collect, validate, and organize borrower documentation such as financial statements, tax returns, ownership records, and insurance pap ers. Identify and reconcile inconsistencies across documents (e.g., ownership details, revenue figures, entity names, and addresses), escalating discrepancies when requi red. Prepare loan files for underwriting submission and closing using standardized checklists and quality control measu res.2. Team Leader ship Lead, mentor, and manage a team of loan processing and origination speciali sts. Set clear performance expectations and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality out put. Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environm ent.3. Loan Origination &

• Proces sing Oversee the end-to-end loan origination and processing lifecy cle. Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and credit guideli nes. Monitor loan pipelines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain turnaround ti mes.4.

Stakeholder

Collabora tion Coordinate with Sales, Underwriting, and Closing teams to address documentation gaps and ensure smooth file progress ion.



Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on credit operations matt ers.5. Compliance &

• Quality Assur ance Ensure all loan documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standa rds. Stay updated with industry trends, lending laws, and regulatory chan ges. Partner with compliance teams to maintain adherence to policies and procedu res.6. Reporting &

• Performance Manage ment Track team performance metrics and prepare reports for senior managem ent. Analyze operational data to identify improvement areas and implement process enhanceme nts.7.

Experi ence Ensure a seamless borrower experience by addressing queries and resolving issues promp tly. Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the loan lifecy cle.8. Systems &

• Record Manage ment Maintain accurate records, updates, and notes in CRM and Loan Origination Systems (L OS). Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness at all ti mes.9. Training &

• Develop ment Conduct onboarding and training sessions for current hi res. Drive continuous learning and skill development within the team through coaching and knowledge shar ing.

Qualifications & S kills Min imum 5 years of exper ience in Credit Operations, Loan Origination, Processing, and Documenta tion. Min imum 1 year of experience as a Team L ea der (official designation/on papers is mand at ory). Willingness to work Night Shifts (US S hift) and Work From Office ( WFO).

Strong understanding of lending practices, credit policies, and compliance requirem ents. Proven experience in team leadership and people manage ment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making sk ills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abili ties. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environ ment.
