We're looking for an experienced Team Lead - Development to lead our product engineering team and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable AI-powered SaaS products. As a Team Lead, you'll combine strong technical expertise with people leadership. You'll mentor engineers, drive engineering excellence, collaborate with product and business stakeholders across India and France, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

You'll lead the team's Scrum process and keep the Engineering Manager updated on progress, risks, and delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll continue to contribute to architecture and development, working fluently alongside modern AI coding tools while fostering a high-performing, AI-native engineering culture.

Technical Leadership The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions: Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS applications.

Provide creative technical, product, and architectural design leadership, shaping how new features and products are conceived and built.

Champion an AI-native engineering practiceset standards for how the team uses AI coding agents (e. g., Claude Code) and agentic automation to accelerate delivery while safeguarding quality, security, and maintainability.

Guide the integration of AI/ML capabilities, LLM-powered features, computer vision, and intelligent automation into the product.

Review code to ensure quality, maintainability, scalability, and adherence to engineering best practices.

Drive technical discussions, design reviews, and engineering decision-making.

Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, Ops,



and business teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development discussions.

Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Support hiring, onboarding, and technical evaluation of new engineers.

Guide engineers in solving technical challenges and achieving career growth.

Delivery And Process

Plan sprint deliverables and ensure timely execution of engineering roadmaps.

Lead the Scrum process, facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Keep the Engineering Manager updated on progress, risks, blockers, and delivery status.

Identify project risks, remove blockers, and ensure on-time delivery.

Improve engineering processes, development workflows, and release practices.

Ensure high standards of testing, documentation, code quality, and production reliability.

Drive continuous improvement through agentic automation, AI-assisted workflows, and engineering best practices.

Requirements 6+ years of software engineering experience, having seen a SaaS product develop from early stage to scale, with a proven track record of delivering scalable applications.





2+ years of experience leading or mentoring software engineering teams.

Expert-level proficiency in Python and Django (Celery, DRF, API Integration).

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.

Strong product sense and architectural design skills, with the creativity to turn ambiguous business needs into clean, scalable solutions.

Process-oriented, with hands-on experience running Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).

Experience with relational databases, key-value stores, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Strong knowledge of GitHub, Linear, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and DevOps practices.

Positive understanding of ReactJS (React Native is a plus).

Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows (e. g., Claude Code), and the judgment to review, direct, and safely ship AI-generated code at scale.

Practical experience integrating LLMs into products prompts engineering, tool/function calling, MCP-based integrations, and retrieval over vector stores (e. g., pgvector).

Exposure to computer vision/image processing (e. g., OpenCV, face detection) and to building internal automation or developer tooling (workflow automation, CI-driven agents) is a strong plus.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced product environment.

BE/B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
