Position: Team Lead - Contracts to Billing

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management:

- Assign work, solve workload problems and ensure high productivity levels

- Assess workloads to determine equal distribution and identify staffing requirements

- Assist in training new employees and mentor team members

- Ensure service delivery as agreed norms and SLAs

Contracts to Billing Operations

- Analyze contract terms and ensure accurate billing implementation

- Review and validate billing setups against contract specifications

- Process contract amendments and billing adjustments

- Quality checks to ensure accurate contract-to-billing conversions

- Month-end closing activities and reporting for billing cycles

Process Improvement & Analysis:

- Perform root cause analysis to drive process improvements

- Support cost-savings and process improvement initiatives

- Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps and financial risks





- Update process documents and capture exceptions during processing

Stakeholder Management

- Liaise closely with onshore teams and other stakeholders

- Query handling - manage escalated billing queries and contract discrepancies

- Escalate unresolved issues/concerns to appropriate management levels

Reporting & Data Management:

- Generate process-related and ad-hoc reports including KPIs and quarterly reports

- Data management, reporting & stakeholder management

- Provide assistance during internal/external audits

- Forecast accuracy reporting for billing projections

Experience Required

- 7-8 years in contracts, billing operations, or related finance functions

- 3 years of team leadership experience

- Robust knowledge of billing systems, ERP platforms, and automation tools

- Experience with process improvement and automation implementation
