OverviewThe TCAM (Telematics and Connectivity Antenna) role is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing telematics solutions that integrate seamlessly with automotive connectivity systems. The significance of this role lies in ensuring that vehicles are equipped with advanced communication capabilities, enabling real-time data transmission and connectivity that improves user experience and operational efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and external partners, to create creative antenna solutions that meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry.

In addition, the TCAM will engage in continuous monitoring of technological advancements to enhance the existing systems and remain competitive in the market. With a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and performance, the TCAM will contribute to the enhancement of vehicle functionalities through effective telematics integration.Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop telematics antennas for automotive applications.
- Integrate antenna systems with existing vehicle platforms and electronics.
- Conduct performance analysis and testing of antenna designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
- Oversee prototype development and validation processes.
- Stay abreast of advancements in telematics and connectivity technologies.




- Evaluate and select suppliers for antenna components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Facilitate troubleshooting and problem-solving for integration issues.
- Document project specifications and processes for future reference.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Plan and manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Engage with customers for requirements gathering and feedback.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for antenna designs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in telematics or antenna design.
- Proficiency in RF simulation and modeling software.
- Strong understanding of wireless communication protocols.
- Prior experience in automotive electronics preferred.
- Knowledge of performance testing and measurement techniques.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with PCB design tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO and FCC.
- Willingness to travel for onsite testing and client meetings.
- Prior experience in leading technical projects is highly desirable.
