Education: BSc / MSc/BE/BTech in IT

Responsibilities

- Maintain and optimize Laptop, Workstations, Servers, Storage and Networks
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Server administration: This includes configuring and maintaining servers, operating systems, and hypervisors.
- Monitoring network performance and identifying and resolving issues.
- Backing up and restoring data.
- Ensuring systems are secure and protected against cyber threats.
- Providing technical support to users.
- Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
- Develop technical documentation and manuals
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripts
- Identify process gaps and prepare improvement plan
- Ensuring ITSM process are followed

Must Have

- Proven working experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator or relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems




- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook SharePoint
- Thorough understanding of networking concepts like DNS, DHCP, Active Directory VLAN
- Knowledge of Windows Server Administration
- Knowledge of HP Secure print solution will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of HR systems like time and attendance, payroll, leave management hosted in cloud or vendor premises or on prem will be an added advantage.
- Good to have knowledge of file transfer tools like File Catalyst
- Good to have knowledge of license management tools for engineering applications like Catia, MATLAB, ANSYS etc.
- Positive to have knowledge of IT project management
- Good Communication skills
- Excellent team player with positive attitude and desire to learn and develop new skills
- Engineering or equivalent Degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field.
