SKF has been around for more than a century and today we are one of the world s largest global suppliers of bearings and supporting solutions for rotating equipment Our products can be found literally everywhere in society This means that we are an important part of the everyday lives of people and companies around the world In September of 2024 SKF announced the separation of its Automotive business with the objective to build two world-leading businesses The role you are applying for will be part of the automotive business This means you will have the opportunity to be a part of shaping a new company aimed at meeting the needs of the transforming global automotive market Would you like to join us in shaping the future of motion We are now looking for a Sustainability CSR Head India Reports To Business Line Head Location Pune Bangalore A Purpose of Position The role will be Responsible for developing implementing and monitoring the Sustainability framework Strategy for the organization 70 and manage the corporate social responsibility 30 initiatives across India Key responsibilities Defining sustainability strategy for the company and facilitation for SKF s full Value chain for Policy procedure Operational requirements and communication Reporting as per mandatory Non-mandatory requirements of sustainability reporting such as BRSR Business Responsibility Sustainability report IR integrated reporting GRI reporting To develop and implement the SKF s Setting Sustainability Standards in line with the international best practices and to manage the SKF s environmental impacts to maximize resources energy efficiency and minimize waste Understanding the risks and opportunities arising from climate change and incorporating them in Enterprise-wide risk management exercise Carbon foot printing assessment and carbon neutrality strategies climate change mitigation strategies and Product Life cycle assessment Monitoring and improving the sustainability performance of the company for various Sustainability parameters Executing Facilitation for sustainability BRSR-related Projects in the value chain for issues such as energy use resource conservation recycling pollution reduction waste elimination transportation education Human rights and building design Communication and training on sustainability issues like climate change Human rights product life cycles assessment Policy advocacy Liaise with various external agencies such as stakeholder groups including employees consumers business partners and suppliers and NGO Govt bodies and trade associations Providing various input to teams for Customer compliance for sustainability data such as ESG compliance resource efficiency GHG Emission Lead CSR projects from concept to execution including budgeting and impact assessment Coordinate employee volunteering programs and engagement campaigns Metrics ESG Parameter improvements in the value chain Sustainability Nonfinancial reporting Stakeholder engagement Sustainability Projects in the value chain Profile of the jobholder Bachelor s or master s degree in Sustainability Environmental Management Business or related fields 10 years of experience in CSR ESG or sustainability roles Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards Excellent communication project management and stakeholder engagement skills Passion for social impact and environmental stewardship You will enjoy working here if you are have Ideal profile would be someone keen to learn grow and work in fast paced environment Someone who is Strategic and Visionary Sees the big picture and connects CSR and sustainability goals to long term business strategy and brand image Curious Data oriented Makes decisions based on data and continuously learn on new trends and reporting standards Excellent Communicator Coordinates between departments executives and external stakeholders Passionate Resilient Handles multiple tasks and thrives in dynamic environments SKF is committed to creating a diverse environment and we firmly believe that a diverse workforce is essential for our continued success Therefore we only focus on your experience skills and potential Come as you are -
