Position

Surface Grinding Operator

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

- 25 years in precision surface grinding.

- Experience in Tool Room or Mold & Die manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform precision surface grinding of tooling components.

- Grind inserts, plates, punches, dies, and tooling parts.

- Achieve specified flatness, parallelism, and surface finish.

- Read engineering drawings and machining requirements.

- Measure finished parts using precision instruments.

- Dress grinding wheels and maintain grinding machines.

- Maintain workplace safety and housekeeping.

Required Skills

- Surface grinding techniques.

- Grinding wheel selection.

- Engineering drawings.

- Precision inspection.

- Quality awareness.
