Job Title- Subject Specialist- Maths

1. Develop Learning Resources for SCERT, DIET Faculty, Teachers, and Students:
- Create engaging and effective learning resources (lesson plans, laboratory manuals, handbooks, student workbooks, training modules, self learning modules) that cater to the needs of SCERT, DIET faculty, Master trainers, teachers, and students in English.
- Ensure that the resources are aligned with NCERT/state curriculum, comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible, providing valuable support for enhancing subject-specific knowledge and skills.
1. Conduct Full Capacity Review of SCERT and DIETs on Specific Subjects:
- Support the development of a methodology, framework, tools, and timelines for conducting a thorough capacity review of SCERT and DIETs in relation to English.
- Ensure that the review process comprehensively evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of SCERT and DIETs, enabling informed decision-making and improvements in subject-specific education.
1. Conduct Orientation and Capacity Building Sessions:
- Conduct orientation and capacity building sessions/workshops for SCERT, DIET, State Resource Group (SRG) members, Master trainers and teachers focused on English.
- Provide comprehensive training and guidance to enhance their understanding and proficiency in subject-specific pedagogy, content knowledge, and instructional strategies, including laboratory/hands on-based teaching and inquiry-based learning.
- Design and conduct peer learning sessions for teachers and Master trainers
Essential Requirements-
1. Postgraduate degree in English with at least 8 years of experience in creating structured lesson plans in English for Grades 6th to 12th.
2. Robust command over subject with ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of key concepts, principles, and theories.
3. Familiarity with educational programs, initiatives, and best practices in English education in India.
4. Ability to conduct research, analyse data and information to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in their field.
5. Ability to develop effective instructional materials, training modules and methods, including laboratory-based and inquiry-driven approaches.
6. As new technologies and trends emerge, Subject Specialists must be able to adapt and adjust their skills and knowledge accordingly.
7. Preference will be given to candidates who have proficiency in Bangla, Kokborok, or other dialects of Tripura.
