Role Description The Study Abroad Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The counselor will guide prospective learners and families through the entire study abroad process, including understanding academic goals, recommending suitable countries and universities, and explaining admission requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, managing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions.

The role involves coordinating documentation for applications, supporting students with visa and interview preparation,



and liaising with universities or partner agencies when required. The counselor will also participate in educational events, seminars, and outreach activities to promote Affinity Education's services and ensure a professional, learner-focused experience at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand learners goals and recommend appropriate study destinations and programs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to conduct one-on-one sessions, presentations, and collaborative work with students and families.

- Organizational and documentation abilities, including managing application paperwork, maintaining databases, and tracking student progress.

- Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, visa procedures, and current study abroad trends.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications and online communication tools for handling inquiries and virtual follow-ups.

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.

- Prior experience in study abroad counseling, education consultancy, or student services is preferred but not mandatory.

- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment, meet timelines, and maintain a learner-centric, ethical approach.
