About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Statutory Audit qualified to join our team as either a Manager or Associate Director, depending on experience and expertise. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Indian statutory audit practices, demonstrating technical excellence, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for diverse clients in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Companies Act provisions.
- Oversee audit planning, fieldwork, and completion processes, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality documentation.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to audit team members.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a primary point of contact for audit-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements specific to the Indian market.
Requirements
- Qualification: Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience:
- Significant experience in Statutory Audit is mandatory.
- Candidates must possess relevant articleship experience in Statutory Audit.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Indian Audit Practice are essential (Global practice experience will not be considered).
- Current Designation: Applicants must be currently serving at a Manager level.
- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of financial reporting frameworks, and proven project management skills.
