Purpose of the Role :

- Procurement of F&V; in the State through Collection Centre's /Mandi/National sources & its supply to RR Stores within & outside State with optimization in logistics.
- Increase CC/Direct Farmer supplies.
- Monitoring crop status of registered farmers through planned field visits of CC Buyers and basis information Forecast availability.
- Allot indent to CCs basis farmers-level information available regarding - farmers who have cultivated recommended variety and whose fields are free from pests, diseases and defects.
- Linking potential production belts within the States and developing current sourcing locations.
- Tapping Interstate opportunities through FST monitoring for Margin improvement and Availability improvement
- Ensure Freshness & Quality Assurance by adopting appropriate quality measures at the point of sourcing, product handling during transportation and at Fresh Food DCs.

- Viability in procurement cost based on forecasting, seasonality and efficiency within the system.
- Closely Coordination with the product heads and the strategic location in charges for flow of F&V; into and from his state.




- Allocate the sourcing plan over the CCs/Mandi/National for optimum flow of Fruits & Vegetables across the state by establishing robust MIS system
- Forecasting & Planning Process in association with the States 34
- Consolidation of inventory requirements in coordination with merchandising teams
- Purchase order creation, signoff and order placement (incl. mandi buying)
- Order tracking • Delivery cycle alignment with warehouses
- Inventory returns • Product recalls
- Ensure seamless supply chain system from sourcing location to FreshFood DC.
- Review overall spends and spend analysis reports for logistics.
- sReduce cost of wastage by improving F&V; handling practices and optimizing the truck loads
- Ensure that procurement plans are in place for all demanded SKUs in the State.
- Ensure fill rates- Line and Quantity; Forecasting & Planning Process in association with the States.
- Minimizing Customer Complaints by Sourcing Quality Produce.
- Integrity of Declared Purchase Price for the Collection centers (a) Monitoring the Mandi deductibles review and (b) Surprise visits to Mandi to check Wholesale prices
- Make Best in class assortment, range available from different regions/States. Training of all stakeholders (CC Buyers, Mandi Buyers) on quality specifications and processes
