Role Description The Staff Nurse role is a full-time, in office position based in the Erode.

The Staff

Nurse will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting in procedures such as oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer.

Responsibilities include preparing patients and procedure rooms, maintaining sterile techniques, documenting care accurately, and coordinating with IVF specialists, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves patient education on treatment plans, medication schedules, and post-procedure care,



as well as supporting patients emotionally throughout their fertility journey.

Staff

Nurses are expected to follow all clinical protocols, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

- Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent) and registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and pre- and post-procedure care.
- Experience or strong interest in IVF, obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive medicine, or women’s health settings.
- Knowledge of infection control practices, sterile techniques, and handling of clinical equipment in procedure rooms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling, education, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records, follow clinical protocols, and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with good time management, attention to detail, and teamwork capabilities.
- Basic computer literacy for using hospital information systems and documenting patient care; familiarity with EMR is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required by clinical operations and commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
