Role Summary: Vertex Consultants to support tax configuration and compliance initiatives. The role involves working on complex tax rules, system configuration, and automation testing within a lean, high-impact team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and manage tax rules in Vertex (or Avalara)
- Handle complex logic including Boolean conditions and tax rules
- Support deployment of tax configurations
- Build automation testing (POC → scalable solutions)
- Troubleshoot and provide ongoing support.

Required Skills:

- Experience in Vertex (not just a user but hands on Vertex configuration & setup experience).
- Strong understanding of tax rules / compliance systems.
- Hands-on with automation testing (Selenium or similar).
- Ability to build POCs and scale solutions.
- bulk/volume data validation in Vertex specifically, and (2) Vertex-native reporting vs. Oracle BI Publisher.

Extensive hands-on Vertex O-Series UI and configuration experience.
