Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable, high-performance systems across mobile, web, embedded, and cloud platforms.
- Define and implement service-based, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
- Design and optimize over-the-air (OTA) content distribution and transactional business systems.
- Build secure, highly available, and distributed cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Leverage DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Architect complex database models using relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and AWS Aurora.
- Integrate API gateways (e.g., Kong), caching systems (e.g., Redis), service meshes (Consul, Istio, Kuma), and messaging systems (e.g., MQTT).
- Implement monitoring and analytics using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
- Guide teams on networking, security protocols, high availability strategies, and analytics implementation.
- Document system architectures using C4 models, UML,
and sequence diagrams.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Protected).
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in mobile, web, embedded, and cloud computing architectures.
- Deep understanding of Linux and Android embedded systems, as well as microservices architecture.
- Proven experience designing cloud-native applications and migrating on-premise systems to the cloud.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security best practices, and high-availability strategies.
- Hands-on experience with open-source technologies, API gateways, CDNs, caching, and service meshes.
- Familiarity with analytics and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
