We are having an urgent opening for the position of Sr. Product Designer for a reputed company in Luxury Interior Design Industry at Mumbai ((Kanjurmarg (W)) / Marine Drive Location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for new products
- Analyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
- Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and clients
- Research materials and techniques
- Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD)
- Mock-ups and prototyping
- Use 3D modelling software to design products
- Produce prototypes and test functionality
- Improve the design of existing products
- Gather feedback from product users
- Presentation
- Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends
- Provide assistance to product engineers when needed.
- Recommend recent tools and technologies by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques
- Handy and experienced with all materials in the market.
- 3DMax - 40% (3D RENDERING)
- Sketch Up - 60% (3D)
- MS Office
Work Day & Time : Monday to Friday : 9:30 to 6:30 / Saturdays : 9:30 to 3:30 (Half day)
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Product Designing.
Candidates Profile:
- Experience in industrial design
- Creativity in mixing up color, shapes and techniques
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design tools
- Good knowledge of 3D modelling software
- Time-management skills
- Adaptability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
- A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
- Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
- Skilled in making detailed technical working drawing of the product
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Should have a drive (first-generation, self-made individuals preferred)
- Foreign educated/trained/experienced
