Guidewire Manufacturing Engineer / Production Specialist

Job Summary

St. Stone Medical Devices Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Guidewire Manufacturing Engineer / Production Specialist to establish, operate, and continuously improve our in-house Guidewire manufacturing process. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing, process control, quality assurance, operator training, and production optimization while ensuring compliance with medical device quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Process

- Perform Raw Material Inspection and verify incoming materials against specifications.
- Carry out Core Wire Cutting and Straightening as per manufacturing requirements.
- Perform Core Wire Grinding and Tapering to achieve required dimensions.
- Execute Intermediate Cleaning before further processing.
- Prepare and perform Distal Coil Winding as per design specifications.
- Assemble Distal Coil with Core Wire accurately.




- Perform Tip Welding using approved welding techniques.
- Carry out Tip Forming / Ball Tip Formation ensuring smooth and atraumatic tip geometry.
- Apply PTFE Coating as per process specifications.
- Perform Final Cleaning before inspection.
- Conduct Dimensional & Functional Inspection of finished Guidewires.

Required Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Biomedical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.

Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in Medical Device Manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Manufacturing.
