Skill Requirements
- Having knowledge on LDO, switching regulator AC-DC converter, DC DC converter, and different power supply topology etc.
- Analog, Digital and Mixed Circuit Design and development.
- Microcontroller/Microprocessor/FPGA based designs.
- Experience in different communication peripherals for I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, UART, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, USB etc. also in wireless communication like, LORA, GPS, RF, Bluetooth communication etc
- Having knowledge on Motor control for AC/DC motor, BLDC motor, PMSM motor etc,
- EMI/EMC compliant design experience.
- Experience in using Test Equipment, Testing Hardware, Verification & Validation.
- Power Converter Design & Validation: Design, analyze, test, and validate power electronic converters including isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters, battery chargers, and AC-DC converters
- Simulation Expertise: Hands-on experience with simulation tools such as LTSpice, PSIM, MATLAB, and PLECS for circuit modeling, performance evaluation, and design optimization.
- Gate Driver Design: Strong experience in designing MOSFET/IGBT gate driver circuits, including protection features such as desaturation detection, soft turn-off, and short-circuit protection.
- Component Engineering & Analysis: Skilled in component selection, power loss estimation, efficiency optimization, thermal analysis, worst-case calculations, and stability analysis using pole-zero and Bode plot techniques.
- Control Algorithms & Stability: Positive understanding of control strategies for DC-DC converters (voltage mode, current mode, digital control, etc.) with the ability to perform detailed stability analysis via simulations and analytical methods.
- Magnetics Design:
Thorough understanding of design principles for inductors and transformers, magnetic material selection, core loss estimation, winding techniques, and manufacturing processes.
- Signal Conditioning & Isolation: Strong grasp of signal conditioning circuits including current/voltage sense amplifiers, optocouplers, digital isolators, and related isolation techniques.
- PCB Design Support: Collaborate with ECAD teams for PCB layout; review designs for DRC, EMC compliance, creepage/clearance, DFM/DFA, thermal considerations, and high-voltage design guidelines.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as requirement specifications, design documents, test plans, test reports, DFMEAs, and engineering BOMs.
- Hardware Bring-Up & Validation: Experience in hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of power converter prototypes, using appropriate test equipment and safety practices.

- Interaction with customer to understand the simulation requirement and objective.
- Design & development of Power Electronics product which involves Analog, Digital and Mixed-Signal Hardware for AC DC converter, DCDC converter, VCU, Motor Control Products in Automotive/Industrial
- Knowledge on Motor control techniques, Power electronics, Embedded Hardware, MPU etc.
- Design of hardware and qualification of hardware for various qualification standards.
- Working with different cross functional teams like PCB Design Engineers, Mechanical team etc.
- Test Plan creation, Testing and Validation.
- Individual contributors.
