This position is vital within our organization as it directly impacts data accuracy, reliability, and overall business intelligence outcomes used for strategic decision-making. The Senior ETL QA will lead testing initiatives, develop robust testing procedures, and collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, and business analysts.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test strategies for ETL processes
- Perform data validation and verification through all ETL stages
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to understand ETL pipeline requirements
- Analyze and document defects and issues discovered during testing




- Utilize SQL and other tools to perform in-depth data analysis
- Automate testing processes to enhance testing efficiency
- Conduct regression testing during system updates and enhancements
- Train and mentor junior QA team members on ETL testing
- Facilitate reviews of test outputs and provide feedback
- Support root cause analysis and reporting for data discrepancies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with best practices in data quality and governance
- Manage testing environments and ensure data privacy standards
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding testing status and issues

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum8 to 12 years of experience in ETL testing
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Solid understanding of data warehouses and data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with testing automation tools such as Selenium or QTP
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) is a plus
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM workplace
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving capabilities in data-related issues
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous
- Experience in performance and load testing is preferred
- Certifications in QA methodologies (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
