Role Description The Sr Accounts Receivable Caller is responsible for managing and following up on outstanding medical claims and patient accounts with U.S. insurance payers and other stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include making outbound calls to insurance companies, verifying claim status, resolving denials and underpayments, and documenting all interactions in the billing system with accuracy. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to escalate complex issues, analyzing recurring problems, and suggesting process improvements to enhance collections.

on-site position based in Puducherry, requiring consistent attendance and collaboration with local team members.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare revenue cycle processes, medical billing, and insurance claim follow-up.
Proficiency in accounts receivable management, including denial handling, follow-up strategies, and payment posting basics.
Excellent communication skills in English, with a clear telephone presence and the ability to interact confidently with insurance representatives.
Attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and the ability to maintain thorough documentation in billing and AR systems.
Experience working with medical billing software, practice management systems, or other healthcare RCM tools.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and meet productivity and quality targets.
Prior experience in U.S. medical AR calling or healthcare BPO is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education; relevant certifications in medical billing or RCM are an advantage.
