About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with extensive experience in SIEM and security orchestration platforms to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting advanced security solutions, primarily focusing on Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).

This role involves developing security use cases, managing incident investigations, and enhancing detection capabilities to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats.

The Security

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various security tools and streamline security operations, ensuring robust protection for our clients' digital infrastructure.

Qualifications Candidates should possess 4-8+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in SIEM platforms, particularly Splunk. A comprehensive understanding of security operations, incident response, and threat hunting is essential.

Relevant certifications such as Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin, Splunk Core Consultant, and SOAR certifications are highly desirable.



Candidates should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, customer-facing consulting experience, and proficiency in integrating diverse security products including firewalls, EDR, IAM, and cloud security solutions. A solid grasp of frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK; and Cyber Kill Chain, along with experience in log onboarding, parsing, and data normalization, is also required.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain security use cases, detection rules, dashboards, and reports within Splunk ES to identify and respond to security threats effectively.
- Lead incident investigations, perform threat hunting activities, and analyze security alerts to determine potential breaches or vulnerabilities.
- Implement and support SIEM and SOAR platforms, ensuring seamless integration with various security tools and data sources.
- Develop and optimize correlation searches, data models, and content engineering to improve detection accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Onboard and normalize log data from diverse sources such as firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR), cloud services, and network devices.
- Collaborate with security teams and clients to develop tailored security strategies and incident response plans.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends,



and best practices, continuously enhancing detection and response capabilities.
- Provide troubleshooting support and customer consulting to resolve complex security issues and optimize platform performance.
- Contribute to the documentation of security processes, procedures, and technical standards to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.
