Key Responsibilities of a Speech Therapy Assistant:

- Therapy Implementation:
- Deliver speech therapy sessions as outlined by the supervising SLP.
- Use techniques and exercises to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension.
- Assist patients with alternative communication devices (e.g., augmentative and alternative communication systems).
- Supportive Services:
- Help create and set up therapy materials such as flashcards, games, or visual aids.
- Conduct speech and language screenings, if allowed by local regulations, under SLP guidance.
- Observe and document patients’ responses during therapy sessions.
- Progress Monitoring:
- Record detailed notes on patient progress to inform SLP evaluations.
- Report any changes or concerns in a patient’s condition to the supervising SLP.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain therapy logs,



organize patient files, and handle scheduling.
- Prepare and clean therapy spaces or equipment.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with SLPs, teachers, parents, and caregivers to support patient goals.
- Provide updates on therapy activities to ensure coordinated care.

Educational Requirements:

- Diploma in speech-language pathology assisting, communication disorders, or a related field.
- Certification as an RCI, where required by state or regional regulations.
- Ded or BED HI can apply with RCI

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
