Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability across backend services, APIs, and user interfaces.

- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring clear reproduction steps and collaboration with engineering teams to drive timely resolution.

- Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure product stability across releases.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria and test coverage.

- Monitor production systems, investigate issues, and provide timely support for incidents, including root cause analysis and resolution validation.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage of testing processes.

- Analyze system logs, API responses, and database queries to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and tools to enhance product quality and team productivity.

- Assist with customer support inquiries by diagnosing issues, reproducing defects, and communicating solutions or workarounds effectively.





- Document test cases, testing processes, and known issues for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Experience in software quality assurance, testing, or technical support roles within a software development setting.

- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman), test automation frameworks, and debugging techniques.

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, and best practices.

- Experience working with backend systems, databases (e.g., SQL Server), and modern web applications.

- Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing and problem-solving.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure or GCP) and distributed systems is a plus.

- A passion for delivering high-quality software and improving user experience.
