Position Description
The position requires performing software test and verification activities for medical software using a combination of manual and automation testing. The work includes close partnership with the software development teams and the systems engineering teams to manage all aspects of testing and documentation of the test activities for medical device software.
Position Responsibilities
- Understand high level system requirements and their relationship to low level design requirements to come up with detailed test cases to meet the regulatory requirements in various markets.
- Analyse and interpret the requirements to come up with test designs that provide comprehensive coverage and ensure requirements to test traceability.
- Create high quality test procedures to implement the test designs.
- Participate in review activities of requirements, test designs, test procedures and test results.
- Perform formal execution of the test procedures by following the established processes.
- Create and maintain high quality documentation of the verification and testing results.
- Ensure compliance to software development processes and medical device standards.
Desired / Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing for Web Applications or Mobile Apps.
- Experience with scripting languages like Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
- Knowledge of different software testing methodologies.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills, ability to produce high quality documentation.
- Able to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural global teams.
- Software Design or Test Experience for medical devices.
- Full product lifecycle experience.
