Job Title: Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Night Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of software products by executing well-defined testing processes, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to enhance product performance. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on software requirements and design documents.

Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and user acceptance testing as part of Agile development cycles.

Report, track, and verify defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM).

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.

Prepare test documentation including test plans, test scripts, and test summary reports.

Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Utilize automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman for API testing) to enhance testing efficiency.





Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle, particularly for critical business applications.

Adapt to working night shifts with effective communication and time management skills.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.

Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques.

Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, HP ALM, etc.).

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, Postman) is a plus.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Positive communication skills, particularly for collaboration during off-hours shifts.

Preferred Skills

Experience in API testing and backend validations.

Has better understanding with SQL

Exposure to performance/load testing tools.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Adaptability to night shifts and flexible working hours. --- Salary Range (India, Hyderabad):
