Muditam is looking for a detail-oriented QA Software Engineer to own quality assurance across our web, mobile app, and CRM systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience testing CRM platforms and mobile applications, is comfortable deploying and configuring testing tools within the system, and is proactive about using AI-powered tools to speed up and improve testing coverage. Key Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and CRM systems.

Perform functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing across releases.

Test CRM workflows including lead management, data sync, third-party integrations, and user permission flows.

Set up, configure, and maintain QA tools and testing frameworks within the company's tech stack (e.g., test management tools, bug tracking systems, automation frameworks).

Use AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., AI-based test case generation, visual regression testing, self-healing automation scripts) to increase test efficiency and coverage.

Identify, log, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps, severity, and priority using tools like JIRA/ClickUp/Trello.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure quality is built in from the start.

Perform API testing (Postman/REST clients) for backend and CRM integrations.

Conduct smoke, sanity, and regression testing before each release/deployment.

Maintain test documentation, checklists, and QA reports for stakeholders.

Monitor production for post-release issues and support quick triaging/fixes.

Continuously suggest process improvements to reduce bugs and improve release quality.

Core QA Skills





Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts

Manual testing: functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, UAT

Test case design, test plan creation, and bug report writing

Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, ClickUp, Trello, or similar)

Technical / Tool Skills

Experience testing CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or custom-built CRMs) — data flows, workflows, integrations

Mobile app testing (Android/iOS) — functional and UI testing across devices

API testing using Postman or similar tools

Basic SQL knowledge for backend/data validation

Familiarity with browser dev tools for debugging web issues

Automation & AI Tools

Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar) — hands-on or working knowledge

Experience using or willingness to learn AI-powered QA tools (e.g., AI test-case generators, AI visual testing, ChatGPT/Claude for writing test scenarios, bug summarization, or test data generation)

Ability to deploy, configure, and maintain QA tools within existing systems/environments

Soft Skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

Clear written communication for bug reports and documentation

Ability to work independently and manage testing priorities across multiple projects Good to Have

Experience with e-commerce or D2C platforms

Basic scripting knowledge (Python/JavaScript) for automation

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into deployment cycles

Prior experience in a startup/fast-paced environment Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

2–3 years of hands-on QA/testing experience

Portfolio or examples of past test cases/bug reports (preferred) What we offer
