We are hiring our next batch of full-time Software Engineering Interns at EdZola for our Coimbatore office. This hiring cycle feels particularly important to me. Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to see EdZola grow from a small team taking on individual technology projects into an organisation building systems, platforms and AI-enabled products for nonprofits and mission-driven organisations.

More importantly, I have witnessed the growth of people within EdZola. I have seen young engineers begin by working on small, clearly defined tasks and gradually learn to understand customers, question requirements, design complete systems, handle difficult production issues and take ownership of outcomes. Watching that transformation has been one of the most rewarding parts of building EdZola.

At the same time, the role of a software engineer is evolving rapidly. AI can now generate code, workflows, interfaces, documentation and even substantial parts of a working application. But the hardest part of engineering has not disappeared.

Someone still needs to understand the real problem. Someone needs to decide how the system should work, question what the AI has produced, account for edge cases, verify the data and ensure that the solution works reliably for the people who will actually use it. That is the kind of engineer we want to hire and develop.





We are looking for young engineers who are deeply curious, love solving difficult problems and want to use technology for social good. You may be in your pre-final year or final year of engineering, have recently graduated, or have up to two years of experience. You do not need to know every platform or framework already.

What matters more is whether you are willing to learn quickly, reason from first principles, use AI thoughtfully, ask good questions and take responsibility for what you build. At EdZola, you may work across AI products, Zoho applications, APIs, databases, integrations, dashboards, workflow automation and custom software. You will also have the opportunity to stay close to users and understand how technology is used in the real world.

This is a full-time, fully in-person role based in Coimbatore. I believe some of the strongest engineers of the next decade will be those who can move comfortably between AI, robust engineering fundamentals and a deep understanding of people and problems.
