Primary Responsibilities: Develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React JS Web and modern front-end architecturesCollaborate with UX/CX designers to translate mockups and wireframes into clean, accessible, and scalable UI componentsWrite clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to solid front-end engineering principles and industry best practicesUse enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvementEnsure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance across various devices and platformsParticipate in all phases of the AI driven Development Life Cycle (AI-DLC) within an Agile framework, including pipeline planning, daily stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectivesCollaborate with back-end engineers and participate in back-end tasks to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless end-to-end data flowComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: 2 years of professional software engineering experience2 years of experience with React JS (hooks, context, state management)2 years of experience with Node.js and Express.js2 years of experience with TypeScript2 years of experience building and consuming RESTful APIs with JSON1 years of experience with core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 )1 years of experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL)Tools & PlatformsExperience with Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CDExperience with cloud platforms and services (Azure, Application Insights)Experience with containerization (Docker)Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of React Router and client-side routingKnowledge of authentication flows: OAuth 2.0, JWT, token exchangeKnowledge of middleware patterns and API securityFamiliarity with responsive design, CSS frameworks, and cross-browser compatibilityUnderstanding of component-based architecture, frontend best practices, and design patternsFamiliarity with unit and integration testing (Jest or similar)Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability tools At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
