We're looking for a React Developer with 3–4 years of professional experience to join our engineering team in Bangalore. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining performant, scalable, and user-friendly web applications, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code
- Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers
- Integrate with RESTful APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, backend, QA, product) in an agile environment
- Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure code quality
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience with React.js in a production environment
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and modern functional components
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar)
- Experience consuming REST APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers (npm/yarn)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Good to Have:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
- Exposure to Next.js or other React frameworks
- Basic understanding of backend technologies (Node.js)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
