Job Title: Pega Developer

Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary:

- We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer with solid hands-on experience in designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise Pega applications.

- The ideal candidate should have expertise in Email Listeners, Report Definitions, External Application Integrations, Pega Services, Job Schedulers, and Pega Guardrails.

- The candidate should also possess strong knowledge of conducting impact assessments for application enhancements, upgrades, and change requests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, configure, and enhance Pega applications using Pega PRPC/Pega Platform.

- Develop and configure Email Listeners to process inbound emails and automate business workflows.

- Create, maintain, and optimize Report Definitions to support business reporting and application requirements.

- Design and implement integrations between Pega applications and external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, Connectors, and Services.

- Build and configure Pega Services to enable secure and reliable communication with external applications.

- Develop and manage Job Schedulers to automate background processing, scheduled activities, and batch operations.

- Follow Pega Guardrails and best practices to ensure application quality, maintainability, scalability, and performance.

- Conduct impact assessments for application enhancements, production changes, upgrades, and new business requirements.

- Analyze existing Pega rules and identify dependencies, risks, and potential impacts before implementing changes.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.

- Perform unit testing, debugging,



and issue resolution for developed Pega components.

- Support application deployments, production releases, and post-production activities.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and processes.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for application components, integrations, services, and scheduled jobs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in Pega application development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Pega PRPC/Pega Platform.

- Experience in configuring and maintaining Email Listeners.

- Strong knowledge of creating and optimizing Report Definitions.

- Hands-on experience integrating Pega applications with external systems.

- Experience building and configuring Pega Services, Connectors, REST APIs, and SOAP services.

- Experience developing and managing Job Schedulers and background processing.

- Strong understanding of Pega Guardrails, best practices, and application design principles.

- Knowledge of performing impact assessments, dependency analysis, and change-impact analysis.

- Experience with Pega rules such as Data Pages, Data Transforms, Activities, Flows, Flow Actions, Decision Rules, and Case Types.

- Knowledge of Pega Deployment Manager, CI/CD processes, and application deployment is preferred.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Pega certification such as Certified System Architect (CSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).

- Experience with Pega Infinity and Pega application upgrades.

- Knowledge of Pega Constellation is an added advantage.

- Experience working with enterprise applications and complex system integrations.

- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
