Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Faridabad.

The Software

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power Hobfit’s health platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and collaborating with product, data, and design teams to deliver scalable solutions. The role involves integrating third-party services such as lab test providers and fitness tracking tools,



optimizing data workflows, and contributing to code reviews and technical documentation.

The Software

Engineer will also participate in architectural discussions and help improve engineering practices and development processes.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-grade applications.

Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in contemporary codebases.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go) and common backend frameworks.

Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, version control (e.g., Git), and basic cloud or DevOps concepts.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.

Familiarity with health-tech, AI-driven products, or mobile-first platforms is a plus.
