Key Responsibilities

- Feature Development: Design, develop, and maintain reliable RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and Django.

- Clean Coding: Write clean, testable, and efficient code adhering to solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

- Database Operations: Write efficient queries, and assist in managing database schemas (SQL/NoSQL).

- Cross-Stack Collaboration: Partner closely with frontend developers to align API contracts and ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.

- Testing Optimization: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability, and assist in debugging and optimizing performance.

- Code Reviews: Actively participate in team code reviews, learning from senior engineers while contributing to overall code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)

- Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional software development experience, primarily focused on backend systems.

- Core Language: Solid foundational knowledge of Python and its core libraries.

- Framework: Practical, hands-on experience building web applications using Django (and ideally Django REST Framework).





- Software Design: Clear understanding of OOP concepts, basic data structures, and standard software design patterns.

- Databases: Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing SQL queries.

- Tools: Proficiency with Version Control systems (Git) and standard development workflows.

Preferred Bonus Skills (Good-to-Have)

- Frontend Knowledge: Basic hands-on experience or familiarity with modern frontend web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) or frameworks like React or Vue.js.

- DevOps Basics: Familiarity with Docker containerization or deploying applications to cloud environments (AWS/GCP).

- Task Queues: Basic understanding of asynchronous tasks and tools like Celery or Redis.
