Key Responsibilities:

Provide L2/L3 support for Kafka-based applications and infrastructure

Monitor Kafka clusters, brokers, topics, partitions, and consumer lag

Troubleshoot production issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies

Perform Kafka configuration changes (ISR, replication, retention, etc.) as needed

Work with development teams to resolve application-related issues

Manage and support Linux-based environments (logs, processes, disk usage, etc.)

Write and maintain shell/Python scripts for automation and operational tasks

Execute SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting

Support Redis caching layer, including monitoring and basic troubleshooting

Participate in on-call support and handle incident management





- Ensure proper documentation of issues, resolutions, and procedures

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Apache / confluent Kafka (cluster management, troubleshooting)

Intermediate knowledge of Linux/Unix systems

Positive experience with SQL (queries, joins, performance basics)

Understanding of Kafka concepts like ISR, partitions, replication, consumer groups

- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g.Dynatrace.)
- Experience with the Redis caching layer, including monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
