Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Soft Skills Trainer role based in Chennai.

The Soft Skills

Trainer will design and deliver interactive training sessions on communication, presentation, and life skills for students preparing for placements in the tech sector. Daily responsibilities include planning session content, conducting classroom and workshop-based training, assessing learner needs and progress, and providing constructive feedback and coaching. The role involves collaborating with other trainers and program managers to align training modules with industry requirements and placement goals.





The trainer will also contribute to curriculum enhancement, create engaging training materials, and support students in building confidence and professional behavior.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong training and development skills, including experience in designing and delivering skill-based programs.

Candidates should possess effective presentation skills and the ability to conduct engaging, interactive sessions for large and small groups.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Candidates should possess expertise in soft skills and life skills coaching, including teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and skilled etiquette.

Relevant experience as a trainer, facilitator, or educator, preferably with college students or early-career professionals.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, psychology, HR, or training is an advantage.

Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple batches, and adapt to dynamic training schedules.

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a learner-centric approach; familiarity with campus placements and tech hiring processes is a plus.
